CLRI is an R&D Institute of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India which has established the Bio Materials Lab of BSL2 / BSL3 in TICEL..
Equipped with clean air facility for carrying out work related to Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Plant and Animal Tissue Culture, Downstream Processing and Analysis.
R&D is related to development of bio-materials using collagen-Polymer composites, graft copolymers, hybrid polymers and conjugates for drug delivery, medical / surgical and cosmetic applications.
CLRI is a technical partner with TICEL in managing the analytical and animal cell culture facilities.
